As earlier mentioned, you can make use of our AES Encryption without facing any hassle. You don’t need to take any training or memorize formulas to encrypt or decrypt file. The only thing you need to do is, follow the simple steps mentioned below.
Step 1: After accessing the tool, you will find a file upload field ie "Upload Encrypted File to Decrypt" where first you have to upload encrypted file. This field is mandatory but at a time you can upload only one file and decrypt it.
Step 2: The next thing is to enter password or secret key in "Password" text field. While decrypting this same message, you must use this password. This field is also mandatory but there is no minimum or maximum limits for this field for entering password.
Step 3: The next thing is to select one of Encryption modes from the "Select Mode" dropdown. Mode CBC (Ciper Block Chaining) is set as default. We have provide 5 modes with GCM as follows
- CBC - Cipher Block Chaining mode
- ECB - Electronic Code Book mode
- CFB - Cipher Feedback mode
- CTR - Counter mode
- OFB - Output FeedBack mode
- GCM - Galois/Counter mode
Step 4: The next thing is to select one of Decryption key Bit size from the "Key Size in Bits" dropdown. 128 Bits is set as default. We have provide 3 bit sizes as follows
- 128 Bits
- 192 Bits
- 256 Bits
Step 5: The next thing is to select one of text format from the "Output Text Format" dropdown. Base64 is set as default. We have provide 2 text formats as follows
- Base64
- Hex
Step 6: Lastly, hit the “Decrypt Now” button. As a result, "Download Now" button will be visible. Click on it to download file the decrypted file or original file.
